This isn't the first time having their pasta, since it's so delicious I thought I would give everyone a heads up to try this place. Customer service is great a nice locally owned establishment, the owner is Top Tier. Chicken and shrimp pasta is everything and more. It was freshly cooked so you know it was piping hot. The presentation was their, it was prepared by hands that want you to enjoy his food. I don't live in Memphis was here visiting but will most definitely stop by again to try out other items on the menu.

"Down South" also happens to be just south of all the fancy downtown restaurants, Beale St excitement and fancy SOB apartments (BTW, that's "South-of-Beale" here in Memphis). DS is a humble restaurant that serves tasty "down south" dishes to mostly locals and blue-collar workers in the neighborhood. It's the "go-to" spot for many workers in the area. Pros: +Good Food +Free Parking +Friendly +Fairly Clean Cons: -Service takes a while! No matter how small the order or time of day. So ORDER AHEAD if in a hurry (& add 5 mins to the eta) LOL Be Advised: *Nothing Fancy Here! Jacket / Ties not required! LOL! *Be aware of your surroundings (but that's everywhere in the world!) *We normally order the wings or hamburgers (I HIGHLY recommend the burgers -see pic).
On a bike ride and happened upon this place. Corner store location about 2 blocks south of crump blvd. Ample car parking. Nice inside seating area which is not open at this time due to covid. I had cheeseburger , fries. Burger cooked to order and dressed as I requested. Burger thick and juicy and arrived hot. Fries are standard and arrived too hot to eat at first. They allow you to salt as desired so ask for salt if you like them salty. Credit cards accepted.
ThiS nice cozy spot in the heart of South Memphis just minutes from downtown, I like my chicken fried crispy/hard & here is where the owner do that with perfection. Other things like Fried Cabbage, Salmon Burger & Turkey Burger is the BOMB....
